How much do we know the development history of the countries of the world that we consider as examples of civilized, democratic, developed and prosperous countries today? These countries were not as developed as they are today; They also had to come to this stage today through various experiments. The main requirements for the economic development of a country are: 1. Human Resources Natural resources 3. Education, science and technology. Different countries have developed in different ways by applying this concept and theory of development of modern economy. On the basis of this theory, we can divide the developed and developing countries into three parts.
First of all, the states that have developed using this theory of human
resources, Japan, South. Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Malaysia
are in this category. At one time the natural resources and
knowledge-science-technology of these countries were limited.
Second, oil-rich countries, including Saudi Arabia, Iran, Qatar, and
Libya, have developed using the theory of natural resources. Their knowledge,
science, technology and human resources were limited.
Third, the United States, Canada, France, and Germany are among the
states that have developed using the theory of science, technology, and natural
resources; Their human resources were very limited.
The first of these 3 sections of the development model is applicable to
Bangladesh; Because we have an abundance of human resources and we have to use
them to move towards economic development. And appropriate education in
relation to the use of human resources; With that education there will be a
planned connection of the potential sectors of the country.
Bangladesh's natural resources are very limited. So the development of
Bangladesh depends mainly on skilled manpower. The World Bank (2000), UNDP
(2000), UNESCO (1999) all reported that there is no other way for the
development of Bangladesh without the development and use of human resources.
All the reports have said that this large population of the country should be
made suitable for the huge labor market through education on an urgent basis.
Only investment in education can ensure the dream of sustainable
development
